Where Softball Tradition Meets Four Corners Pride

Four Corners Fastpitch Association (FCFA) is home to girls’ fastpitch softball for 6U–18U, with COED T‑Ball for our energetic 3–4‑year‑olds. We’re proud to be one of the longest‑running youth sports organizations in the region — and still growing strong.

A League with History

  • Founded in 1970, our league began as the Farmington Amateur Girls Softball Association.
  • In 2009, we became Four Corners Fastpitch Association to reflect what we had already become — a league representing athletes from all across the Four Corners.
  • In 2010, FCFA moved from ASA to USSSA (pronounced U‑triple‑S‑A) to better support recreational fastpitch.
  • That same year, FCFA earned official nonprofit status, allowing donations to be made directly to the league instead of through FABC.

Growing the Game

Like many youth programs, FCFA saw ups and downs — numbers dipped to around 300 players in the early 2000s. But after revamping our league format, participation skyrocketed.

Today, FCFA proudly provides recreational softball to over 1,000 girls & boys ages 3–18 every season.

Tournaments That Bring the Region Together

FCFA hosts several beloved USSSA tournaments that attract teams from multiple states:

  • Kathy Rouse Tournament Held every Memorial Day Weekend since 2000. Kathy was a cornerstone of FCFA in the 80s and 90s — her passion for fastpitch helped shape the league we know today.
  • Philana Thompson Summer Blast: Renamed in 2019, this mid‑June tournament is a favorite warm‑up for teams preparing for USSSA State Championships.

A Place for Every Player

Whether your athlete is picking up a glove for the first time or gearing up for competitive tournament play, FCFA offers a fun, supportive environment built on community, tradition, and love for the game.
