About us
Four Corners Fastpitch Association (FCFA) is an All-Girl League. Boys interested in playing baseball please contact FABC.
The league was formed in 1970
From 1970 to 2009 it was called the Farmington Amateur Girls Softball Association
In 2009 the name changed to Four Corners Fastptich Association to more accurately reflect that the league was more than just Farmington teams, we now have teams from all over the Four Corners!
In 2010 FCFA moved from ASA to USSSA (pronounced U triple SA) which was more recreation league friendly.
In 2010 FCFA obtained its nonprofit status, previously donations for the league had to be done through the FABC baseball program.
The league has had its share of ups and downs with numbers dropping to 300 in the early 2000s. When the format of the league was revamped the numbers began to grow. Today the league provides recreation softball to over 1000 young girls 4 to 18 years old.
FCFA also hosts several great softball tournaments that draw teams from many different states. Our annual Kathy Rouse which is held Memorial Day weekend, we have been hosting since 2000. Kathy was a huge part of the league in the 80s & 90s and was very passionate about the sport of fastptich softball in our area.
In 2019 the Summer Blast tournament was renamed Philana Thompson~Summer Blast, which will be held mid June, and is also a favorite for teams to participate in to get ready for USSSA State Championships.
